It’s no surprise that engagement in artificial intelligence (AI) exploded over 2023. Conversations around AI have invaded our lives far beyond the boundaries of work. The result has been a mixed bag of reactions. In fact, an August 2023 report from the Pew Research Center found that “52% of Americans say they feel more concerned than excited about the increased use of artificial intelligence.”
We can see this reflected in engagement behavior on SDxCentral.com. As SDxCentral CEO Matt Palmer wrote in a recent analysis article, education and definitional content on AI is being read by a much wider audience than we usually see on this type of content. C-suite executives are just as starved for trustworthy information as engineers and architects.
Moreover, while AI messages and market campaigns abound, most companies are adding to the confusion with “bold public statements and rosy industry predictions without offering clear guidance on where, when or how to leverage AI infrastructure.”
